Two South African cousins have just completed a 10 part series for Discovery Africa about their search for one of our favourite cryptids, Mokele-Mbembe.
An article on the lowvelder.co.za website details their remarkable quest.
If you’ve never heard of this monster, the Mokele-Mbembe is alleged to be a surviving Sauropod living deep in the Congo.
Allegedly tracked in the 18th century, reports began to reach the Western world at the turn of the 20th century that a population of dinosaurs still existed.
Explorers would be perplexed when locals would always point to pictures of Brontosaurus in books to help describe the creature that stumped the visitors.
Let’s hope this show gets picked up by Discovery worldwide
